What is a “Battle Sail”?
A Battle Sail is a thrilling three-hour adventure cruise in which the Lady Washington and the Hawaiian Chieftain engage in a mock sea “battle” with small cannon and intricate maneuvering.
What is an “Adventure Sail”?
An Adventure Sail is a three-hour sea cruise in which you're invited (but not required) to participate in the operation of an 18th-century tall ship. You'll raise sails, take the helm, and hear stories of how ships explored the west coast of North America.
What is an “Dockside Tour”?
A Dockside Tour is a tour of the Lady Washington and/or the Hawaiian Chieftain while she is at the dock. You'll explore the ship and hear tales of life at sea for an 18th-century sailor. Dockside Tours are free, although we request a donation of $5.00.
How do I buy a ticket?

How do I donate goods and services?
The Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain welcomes all donated goods and services that further our educational and ambassadorial missions. To make a cash donation online, visit our donations page. To learn how to make in-kind donations, please call 1-800-200-5239.

Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes! GHHSA is a designated 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
Can I charter a ship?
Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain are available for private cruises or charters by your company or organization. Because the vessels are at sea most of the year, we recommend booking several months in advance, if possible, in order to accommodate your schedule. Can I book a passage?
Yes, you can book an individual passage on either Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain during transits from one port to another. Rates vary according to the ship's schedule. Please call 1-800-200-5239 or visit our “Book a Trip” reservation system to view available dates.
